About the event

Solar has made tremendous strides in the Mid-Atlantic over the last few years and the MDV-SEIA conference will discuss the policy changes that have created this market. Over the past years, Mid-Atlantic states have increased state mandated requirements as well as increased penalties for non-compliance, improved net metering standards, and deployed an array of green energy technologies. This conference will bring together industry an policy leaders to reflect on the successes, recognize the challenges, discuss the implications, chart our course for the future.

The 2011 topics include:
•State Policy: as an incubator for federal policy
•State Policy: recent changes, 2012 renewable agenda and implications for your business
•Renewable Finance: project finance and corporate finance
•Distributed Generation: economics and impact on the utility grid
•Technology: what will be available in 2012; game changers; and lessons learned
•Federal Procurement: where the opportunities are and how to benefit

Vanessa Stewart to speak on "Investment in Firms and Projects" panel. This panel will cover the maturing dynamics of solar project investment as state regulatory and federal economic conditions shift.
