CEO & Co-Founder, Soltage
Jesse Grossman co-founded Soltage and has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer since our founding in 2006. Jesse oversees the design and execution of the Soltage business model, the corporate and project finance activities of the firm, as well as sales and acquisition. Prior to co-founding Soltage, he worked in venture development and management, project finance, marketing, and resource use strategies in diverse locales including East Africa, Indonesia, and the East and West Coasts of the continental USA. Jesse has an undergraduate degree in Biology from Carleton College and a MESc from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies with Business Development certification from Yale’s MacMillan Center. Mr. Grossman speaks four languages and is a published author and speaker in the field of emerging markets and renewable energy.
Chief Financial Officer
Sripradha Ilango is the Chief Financial Officer at Soltage. Sripradha has over 20 years of experience in due diligence, negotiations, and managing energy investments across capital structure on a global basis, and has invested and managed over $6 Billion in growth capital and distressed investments across global energy, mining, power and water sectors. She received her MS in Financial Markets and Trading from the Illinois Institute of Technology and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
Executive Vice President of Operations and Engineering
Steve Goodbody is an Executive Vice President of Operations and Engineering at Soltage. Steve has over 25 years of experience in managing complex and business-critical infrastructure projects in the semiconductor, pharmaceutical, energy generation, and industrial gases and chemicals industries. Prior to Soltage, Steve worked for firms including Northrop Grumman, Johnson Controls and the BOC Group (now the Linde Group). Steve received a B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from Aston University and is NABCEP certified and he has served as a technical consultant for the US Department of Energy.
Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Marc Miller is a Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Soltage. Marc has over 25 years of combined business development, sales, marketing, procurement and R&D experience in both the energy and utility industries, during which he has originated, structured, and negotiated over $1.2 billion in energy contracts and projects. Marc has a BS in Geology from the State University of New York at Fredonia and a BA in English (Cum Laude) from the State University of New York at Buffalo. In addition, he has achieved Six Sigma Black Belt Certification, published articles, and been a panelist and presenter at associations and conferences across the country.
Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Douglas Distefano is a Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Soltage and has been with the company since 2007. Doug has more than 25 years of experience in hardware and software sales, and commercial and industrial sales for government and private sector clients. Prior to Soltage, Doug has held senior sales positions at BEA Systems, Cisco Systems, General Electric, RealNetworks, and Kidder Peabody & Co. Doug has dual undergraduate degrees in Business and Psychology from the University of Hartford.
Vice President of Acquisitions
Peter Schenck is a Vice President of Acquisitions at Soltage. Peter has over 6 years’ experience in the solar industry, previously working to establish Jinko Solar and Canadian Solar in the US market. Prior to Solar, Peter worked 15 years at Motorola opening up and selling products into new markets. Peter has an undergraduate degree in Development Economics from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Chicago.
Vice President of Business Development
Lori Bilella is a Vice President of Business Development for the Western Region at Soltage and is focused on expanding the company’s business operations in California. Lori has 12 years of experience in the solar energy industry and has worked on over 1.5 GW of projects globally ranging from residential, C&I, and large scale utility. Prior to joining Soltage, Lori led the independent engineering practice at Black & Veatch, where her team provided due diligence services for nearly 1/3 of the deployed solar capacity across North America, as well as other power generation projects worldwide. Lori has a dual BS in Mechanical Engineering and Science, Technology and Society from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, an MBA from Penn State University, and is NABCEP certified in Solar PV.
Director of Development
Taylor Henderson is a Director of Development for Soltage, where he leads origination, acquisitions and project development for the Western United States. Prior to joining Soltage, Taylor spent 10 years focused on commercial, industrial, utility, and residential-scale electricity generation across North America for Dow Solar (The Dow Chemical Company), Renewable Energy Systems Americas (RES Americas) and Gamesa. Taylor holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Villanova University and has lectured on cleantech energy development in three countries across two continents. He currently serves as the Board Vice President of the Colorado Solar Energy Industries Association (COSEIA) and on the Board of Directors of the Villanova University Alumni Association.
Director of Development
Michael Zimmer is a Director of Business Development for Soltage, where he leads project development for the Northeast United States. Prior to joining Soltage, Michael worked more than 5 years developing and constructing over 100MW of Commercial and Utility scale solar projects on landfills, roofs, parking lots and greenfields across the Northeast US with Ameresco. Michael holds a Master’s Degree in Energy Systems from Northeastern University’s College of Engineering, and a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular Biology from Connecticut College.
Sales and Marketing Analyst
Liam is a Sales and Marketing Analyst at Soltage. Prior to joining Soltage, Liam worked in residential solar sales with Level Solar, where he was responsible for advising clientele on the financial and technical specifications of solar programs. Liam has also spent time working for economic development offices, both in the public and non-profit sectors, focusing specifically on sustainable community development in urban areas. Liam graduated from the University of Vermont with a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in Environmental Policy.
Paul Zensky is a Project Manager at Soltage with over 20 years of experience in the design, construction, repair and operation of solar power and electrical systems for commercial and industrial facilities. Paul is a licensed Master Electrician and NABCEP Certified solar installer. Paul holds specific certification in Project Management, Electrical Technology and Grid Connected Photovoltaic Systems from the Lyon’s Institute of Technology, the Florida Solar Energy Center, University of Central Florida, and Middlesex County College.
Steve Rutherford is a Project Manager at Soltage with over 20 years of general construction and project management experience. He has specialized in solar since 2006 and has designed and overseen the construction of multiple megawatts of solar energy systems across the US. Steve holds certifications from both SunPower and SMA America as well as an Associate of Science degree from Havering College in the UK.
Solar Asset Manager
Raja Soi is a Manager of Solar Assets at Soltage. Prior to joining Soltage, Raja was the Director of Operations for NRG Home Solar for New Jersey and North Carolina. Raja started his career with Bechtel Power and has been in the Power Industry for over 10 years. Raja earned his Master’s in Theology from Fuller Seminary and his Civil Engineering Degree from Rutgers University.
Yolainne Mary Moran is an Asset Manager at Soltage. Prior to Soltage, she worked in the pharmaceuticals industry through an internship, where she engaged with clients on pharmaceutical reimbursement and with patients on financial assistance programs. Yolainne earned a BS in Energy, Business, and Finance as well as a minor in Mathematics recent graduate from Pennsylvania State University, where she was a Dean’s List scholar, involved in their chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success and held leadership positions within the Engineering Leadership Society.
Chaim Grushko is a Manager of Development at Soltage. Chaim has over 5 years of experience working in corporate finance, project development, and as a corporate attorney. Prior to joining Soltage, Chaim worked as an associate at Goldfarb Seligman & Co, where he represented global companies in cross-border M&A transactions across a diverse range of industries. Chaim earned his LLB from the Faculty of Law at Bar Ilan University, and an MS in Sustainability Management from Columbia University. Chaim is admitted to practice law in New York State and Israel.
Mihir Mehta is a Senior Associate at Soltage. Mihir has over 8 years of experience in principal investing and portfolio management. Prior to joining Soltage, Mihir worked at GE Energy Financial Services in Stamford, CT where he helped manage a $3Bln portfolio of project finance debt investments across thermal and renewable power projects. Prior to GE, Mihir worked at Liberty Mutual in Boston where he analyzed Equity and Debt investments across multiple sectors. He has also worked in public markets investing at a hedge fund and helped start a global investment management firm. Mihir holds an MBA in Finance from Yale University and a Bachelors in Computer Science and Economics from Rutgers University.
Senior Financial Analyst
Dylan Hammer is a Senior Financial Analyst at Soltage. Prior to Soltage, Dylan worked as a financial analyst and project development associate for Conergy and SunPower in the C&I and Utility sectors of the solar industry. Dylan graduated from Bowdoin College with a BA in Government.
Adwoa Adjare-Danquah is an Office Manager at Soltage. Adwoa has over four years of experience in administrative, business and legal field. Prior to Soltage, Adwoa worked as a legal assistant for attorneys within the fields of Bankruptcy, Family Law, Estate Planning, POAs, Wills & Trust and Real Estate. Adwoa earned a BS in Business Management from Rutgers University, and is a Licensed Notary Public for the State of New Jersey.
Head of Accounting
Richard Levine is the Head of accounting for Soltage and he has worked with the company since 2006. Richard has over 15 years of accounting experience, with particular interest in the energy and real estate sectors. Richard is a Certified Public Accountant with a degree in Accounting from University at Albany, State University of New York.
David Isaacs II
Accounting and Operations
David M. Isaacs II is a member of the Accounting and Operations team for Soltage and he has worked with the company since 2012. David has a BBA in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University and an MBA in Accounting from Saint Joseph’s College, New York.
